Brenda Faye Steele Blackburn

McMinnville, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Brenda Faye Steele Blackburn, age 58, was born September 27, 1956 and died October 30, 2014 at her residence following a sudden illness. A cosmetic sales employee at Stewart's Pharmacy and a member of Caney Branch Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Flavil and Virgie Davenport Steele. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Bill Steele. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Shanna Blackburn of Rock Island, TN and Jeremy and Nikki Blackburn of Crossville, TN; granddaughter, Emalee Blackburn of Crossville, TN; five siblings and their spouses, Bobby and Barbara Steele of McMinnville, David and Laurel Steele of Signal Mountain, TN, Shirley and Tony Rymer of Kernersville, NC, Carolyn and Pat Patterson of Morrison, TN and Carl Steele of McMinnville; special sister-in-law, Myrna Steele of Hixon, TN; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 in High's Chapel with Brent Craven officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High's.
