Barbara Jean Wood

Barbara Jean Wood, age 63, a McMinnville, TN resident and Cannon County, TN native died November 7, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was an employee of the Dept. of Agriculture, member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln and Evelyn Sain Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Don and Charles Brown and son, Curtis Wood. She was married September 10, 1965 to Luther Glenn Wood who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Luther Wood, Jr. of McMinnville and Randal (Marisha) Wood of Lebanon, TN; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Wood of McMinnville, Evelina Harris of Kentucky and Vera Keel of Chicago, IL. Graveside service and interment will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Bethlehem Cemetery at Martin Charge. Daniel Hayes will officiate.
