Sandra June Jones

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Sandra June Jones, age 74, was born April 26, 1940 and died November 10, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following a brief illness. A homemaker and a member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Pearl Elrod St. John of McMinnville and the late Goodloe St. John. She was married June 27, 1959 to her husband of 55 years, Douglas Jones of McMinnville. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Stephen Douglas Jones of Nashville, TN, Michael Dewayne Jones of Murfreesboro, TN and Patti Denise Gauger and husband Thomas of McMinnville; grandson, Anthony Daniel Gauger of McMinnville; sister, Brenda St. John of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Martha Jones of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Kay Jones of Lavergne, TN; niece and nephews, Beth and Tim Deason, Kyle and Kristi Jones and Andy Jones all of McMinnville, and Randy Jones of Ethridge, TN; and several great-nieces and one great-nephew. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in High's Chapel with Kevin Key and Ray Weddington officiting. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bible Call Program at East End Church of Christ.
