Gary Wayne Terry

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Gary Wayne Terry, age 66, was born July 8, 1948 and died November 16, 2014 at Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A pipefitter, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, having served two years as a Green Baret, and a member of the Methodist Church, he was the son of Don Terry of McMinnville and the late Maxine Young Terry. In addition to his father, he is survived by step-mother, Frankie Terry of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Staphana and Billy Gay of McMinnville; niece, Brittany Wilhoite and husband Bobby of Shelbyville, TN; nephew, Travis Gay of Nashville, TN; two great-nieces, Madison and Katie Wilhoite; and step-sister, Donna Casey Davis of Corpus Christie, TX. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Lorin Pedigo officiating. Military grave rites will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Thursday at High's.
