Flossie Jean Callebs Capshaw

McMinnville, TN resident and Barbourville, KY native Flossie Jean Callebs Capshaw, age 78, was born December 8, 1936 and died December 23, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A retired Dietary Manager with Raintree Manor and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Molly Lemaster Callebs. She was married to Clarence Riley Capshaw who preceded her in death January 11, 1990. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Cecil Callebs and Quinton Callebs; and sister, Marie Callebs. She is survived by three children, Deborah Ann Lee, Donna Kay Powers and Douglas Bryan Capshaw all of McMinnville; 5 grandchildren, James Allen Lee, Brent Riley Powers, Calleb Bryan Capshaw, Brittney Nicole Capshaw and Mark Brent Powers; one great-grandson, Xander Riley Lee; three sisters, Loretta Gail Moore, Edith Rabb and Dora Beatrice Callebs all of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 in High's Chapel with Lorin Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High's.
