Bonnie A. Roberts Greene, age 78, a McMinnville TN resident and Jefferson County, KS native, was born July 7, 1936 and departed this earth December 26, 2014. She was a nurses aide and ward clerk at the Warren County Hospital, and medically retired from River Park Hospital in 1992. A member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Sophia Bryant Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Spencer Lively; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Russ Penry, Betty and Charlie Coon and Mary and Bob Quigley; two brothers, John Ivan Roberts and Wilbert Bud Roberts; seven half-brothers and sisters; and brother-in-law, Dale Rodecap. She was married December 7, 1952 to her husband of 62 years, Virgle Lee Greene of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Beverly and Pat Greene of McMinnville, and Cathy Greene of McMinnville; granddaughter, Tatum Leigh Prater of McMinnville; grandson, Lee Garrett Taylor of McMinnville; great-granddaughter, Ginny Ann Hodges of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Junedale and Doyle Pemberton; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Elkins and Inez Pitmon both of McMinnville, and Lela Roberts of Topeka, KS; two step-grandchildren, Brandi Hodges and Zack Greene; two step-great-grandchildren, Cole and Asher Wallace; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews from both Kansas and McMinnville; special cousin, Aubrey Green; and special friends, Jean and Larkin Cantrell and Bill and Willene Norris. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in High's Chapel with Randall Gann and Titus Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
