Zelma Louise Rhea Scott

McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Zelma Louise Rhea Scott, age 91, was born November 17, 1923 and died January 9, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Frankie Smartt Rhea. She was married to Roy C. Scott who preceded her in death December 8, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Earl Rhea; and five sisters, Bessie Sinks, Wilma Bratcher, Ruth Owen, Jean Butcher and Beatrice Rhea. She is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Garland Lorance, Carolyn and Charlie Delong and Edith Harris all of McMinnville, and Dean and Robert Muise of Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 in High's Chapel with Kevin Lorance officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's.
