Mary Edith "Nancy" Rackley Strack

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Mary Edith "Nancy" Rackley Strack, age 77, was born March 20, 1937 and died January 11, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. A retired CNA with NHC Healthcare and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Cora Hicks Rackley. She was married to Gregory Strack who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Thomas Carl Rackley; three brothers, Phillip, Bob and Bill Rackley; four sisters, Netty Rackley, Hennrietta Muncey, Corine Cherry and Christine Lorance; and daughter-in-law, Rachel Jeannette McCormick. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Rackley of Cookeville, TN and Angela Troncin of Holt, Missouri; four sons and daughters-in-law, Billy C. McCormick, Johnnie and Patsy McCormick, III, and Timothy and Tammy McCormick all of McMinnville, and Garrett McCormick of Kansas City, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; and brother, Carl Rackley of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in High's Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
