Tommy Joe Basham

Tommy Joe Basham, age 58, a Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died January 12, 2015 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was a former employee of Magnatek-Century and A.O. Smith and son of the late Thurman and Della Myers Basham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Joyce Fults and brothers, Cecil, Harold and Jimmy Basham. Mr. Basham is survived by sons, Kobe (Amanda) Allen of Smithville, TN and Zackery Allen (Deborah Pickel) of Manchester, TN; significant other, Virginia Andrews of Rock Island; five grandchildren; five sisters, Hassie Lee (Harold) Dykes, Elaine Doak, Mary (Jose') Santiago, Judy Scott and Peggy (Chris) Fults all of McMinnville, two broters, Horace (Pam) Basham and Dickie Lee Basham of McMinnville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday in High's Chapel with Sammy Allen to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at High's.
