Tony Curtis

Tony Curtis, age 57, a McMinnville, TN resident and native, was born June 6, 1957 and died January 12, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. He was an engineer with Ladd Engineering, a member of the Church of Christ, and the son of Raymond and Dorothy Joines Curtis of McMinnville. He was married to Tammy Wheeler Curtis who preceded him in death in 1996. In addition to his parents, he is survived by son, Jonathon Kent Curtis of McMinnville; sister, Karen Jo (Doug) Lott of McMinnville; brother, Tim (Janice) Curtis of Doyle, TN; nieces, Melissa Lott and Ashlyn and Kiley Curtis; and nephew, Kris Beckwith. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 in High's Chapel with Roger Comstock to officiate. Interment will follow in the Bascom Cemetery at Vervilla. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service at High's. Memorials may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
