Caleb Michael Summers was born on May 3, 1987, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, and passed away on January 21, 2015 at his home in Midway, Georgia. He was the son of Michael Waymon Summers and Deborah Bailey. Caleb graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2006 after earlier attending Mannheim (Germany) American High School and was a member of the Church of Christ. He played soccer with the Liberty County Recreation Department and was training to compete on the American Ninja Warrior program. He enjoyed travel (especially living in Germany while a teenager and taking a Caribbean cruise last summer) and was an avid bowler and paintballer. He had worked at SNF Chemtal since 2008 and was excited last summer with the birth of his nephew, Titus. He is survived by his parents, his stepmother Morrisa Summers, his sister Shara Rose Fish and her husband Andrew, his brother Isaiah Summers, a nephew Titus Fish, his grandfather, Russell Bailey Sr., and his grandmother Rosemary Summers. He also is survived by several uncles and aunts and cousins. He was employed by SNF ChemtalCorporation in Riceboro, Georgia. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Waymon Summers. The family asks that memorials be made to the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation Inc. CNGC 1000 Halsey Ave. Building 447, Marietta, GA 30060 or Freed-Hardeman University Development Office, 158 E. Main St., Henderson, TN 38340. There will be a viewing at High Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015. His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 with viewing to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery.
