Jolly H. Pryor, age 91, a Muscle Shoals, AL resident, formerly of McMinnville and Tallahassee County, MS native died January 29, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a retired employee of the State of Tennessee Extension Service, member of the East Colbert Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Albert Ross and Ferrell Kirby Hill, Sr. Mrs. Pryor was a graduate of David Lipscomb University in Nashville and Harding University in Searcy, AR with a B.S. degree in Home Economics. She was married September 10, 1949 to Henry Graydon Pryor who preceded her in death February 1, 2005. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Albert R. Hill, Jr. and Bill Hill. Mrs. Pryor is survived by sister-in-law, Reba Hill; niece, Dee Wear and nephew, Tim Hill all of Muscle Shoals, AL; two great-nieces, Shelley Hill Barnes and Amber Hill Blanchard; two great-nephews, Ross Hill and Caleb Beck; one great-great-niece, Nevaeh Barnes and one great-great-nephew, Maddox Barnes; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marta & Johnny Pitmon of Murfreesboro, TN; Wayne & Sally Pryor and Doyle & Barbara Pryor of McMinnville; Anna Lee Blair of the Centertown Community and Joy Pryor of Knoxville, TN. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 in High's Chapel with Eben Gilbert and David Harris to officiate. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday at 12:00 p.m. until time of service at High's.
