Dorothy Mae Dillon Bailey

McMinnville, TN resident and Greenville, MS native Dorothy Mae Dillon Bailey, age 77, was born June 16, 1937 and died January 27, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following a short illness. A long-time resident of Conehatta, MS, a homemaker and member of the Conehatta Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Rawles Dillon. She was married to Ishamael Bailey, Jr. who preceded her in death 1997. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Linda and Garry McCormick of McMinnville, Robert and Lissa Bailey of Conehatta, MS, Randy and Wendy Bailey of Lake, MS and Lori and Wayne Atwood of Lake, MS; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Charles "Indian" Dillon of Greenville, MS; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service was held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest, MS. Burial followed in the Conehatta Methodist Cemetery, Conehatta, MS.
