Kristin Beth Luna

Kristin Beth "Our Baby Girl" Luna, age 24, a McMinnville, TN resident and native died suddenly February 2, 2015. She was a senior at Middle Tennessee State University, member of the Eastern Star, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and member of the Baptist Church. She is the daughter of Ann (Danny) Authement of Naples, FL and Eddie (Diana) Luna of Hillsboro, TN. In addition to her parents, she is survived by children, Matthew West and Caroline Hankins of McMinnville; maternal grandparents, Jerry & Carol Lyle of McMinnville; paternal grandparents, James & Judy Luna of Smithville, TN; paternal grandmother, Janie Ann France of Campaign, TN; sisters, Amber Luna of Knoxville, TN and Dusty Gannon of Manchester, TN; brother, Jamie Crouch of Manchester; uncles, David Lyle of the Irving College Community and Teddy Luna of McMinnville; aunts, Jeanette (Kenny) Scott of McMinnville and Lesa (Jason) Kight of Lake Charles, LA. Several nieces, nephews, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins also survive. Heaven is brighter now. We have lost one of our bright stars. Kristin was always so kind and thoughtful to everyone she met in her life. She always put others ahead of her needs. Being a mother was a great joy to her. She loved her babies more than life itself. They were her pride and joy. Our life will never be the same. Kristin will always be a bright and shining star in our family. Her love and compassion will live on forever in each of us. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 in High's Chapel with Cody Deason to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service at High's.
