Georgie Lee McBride

Algood, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Georgie Lee McBride, age 86, was born August 7, 1928 and died February 13, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County in Algood, TN following a brief illness. A homemaker and of the Baptist Faith, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha Killian Scott. She was married to Dillard McBride who preceded her in death May 4, 1996. She is survived by daughter, Wilma Reeder of Buffalo Valley, TN; two granddaughters, Krista McBride (Crystal King) of Cookeville, TN and Ashley (Mustafa) Kabakci of Buffalo Valley, TN; one great-granddaughter, Macy Aubrey; and special friends, Tamika Parker, Makayla Clark and Bill Combs. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Friendship Cemetery. Terry Pease will officiate. There will be no visitation at High's.
