Virginia Jo Chisam

Virginia Jo Chisam, age 74, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren Co., TN native died February 13, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Church of God and daughter of the late John Thomas and Alice Pearl Wampler Bunch, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Beatrice Christian, Edna Thaxton, Daisy Thaxton and Mable Blew; brother, John Bunch, Jr. and daughter, Virginia Francis. She was married December 28, 2001 to Noel Bryan Chisam who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Doyle Melton, Tommy Melton and Anneita Bryant; brother, Earl L. (Lucille) Bunch of McMinnville; sister, Mary Ruth Barrett of Woodbury, TN; sister-in-law, Mary Bunch of McMinnville. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday in High's Chapel with Kevin Burden officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High's.
