Hazel M. Starkey

Hazel M. Starkey, age 78, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born March 3, 1936 and died February 23, 2015 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ at Trousdale and daughter of the late Thurman Lee and Georgia Mae Reynolds Northcutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Brenda Smoot. She was married July 11, 1953 to Tom Starkey of McMinnville who survives. She is also survived by three brothers, James Northcutt of McMinnville, Bobby Northcutt and William Northcutt both of Morrison, TN; sister, Dorothy Brown of Morrison; two special nieces, Kristy Hewitt and Teresa Pepper both of Morrison; special cousins, Peggy Duke of Manchester, TN, Linda Sharpe and Darrell Wiser both of McMinnville. Other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in High's Chapel with Bobby Newby to officiate. Interment will follow in the Trousdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High's.
