Nancy Elizabeth Baker

McMinnville, TN resident and Bristol, VA native Nancy Elizabeth Baker, age 87, was born June 17, 1927 and died February 27, 2015 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A housekeeper and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Eugene and Maxie Poole Dickerson. She was married to Walter Andrew Baker who preceded her in death January 30, 1966. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Richard Kentwood Baker, Gerald Stephen Baker and Brian Carlton Baker. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene Frederick Baker of Bristol, VA, Walter Wayne and Barbara Baker of Cleveland, OH and Michael Andrew and Joann Baker of Orlando, FL; three daughters and son-in-law, Maxine Brown and Lisa Glenn both of Cleveland, OH and Amanda Ellen and Larry Rutledge of Morrison, TN; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in High's Chapel with Jerry Rutledge and Trent Key officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at High's.
