Jessie Floyd McGee

Jessie Floyd McGee, age 70, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died March 10, 2015 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. He was a retired employee of Carrier Corp., member of the Church of Christ at Smyrna and son of the late Alton and Gladys Ford McGee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son-in-law, Danny Herrin, Jr.; niece, Aleesha Nichole Butcher; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Foster & Edna Taylor. Mr. McGee was married December 22, 1966 to Clayta Mae Taylor McGee who survives. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Tracy McGee Herrin Jordan (Martin, Jr.) and Jessica McGee Jacobs (Corey) both of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Gracie Herrin, Maelee McGee, Tristen McGee Jacobs and Lily Jordan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobby Taylor, Eugene Milstead, Ann Milstead and Kathy & Dwight Pearsall all of McMinnville; four nieces and nephews, Tonya & Tim Crouch, David Milstead (Pebbles), Benji Taylor and Danae Green; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special aunt, Hazel Ford Bain, special friends and family. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 in High's Chapel with Jerry Rutledge and Bobby Newby to officiate. Interment will follow in the New Union Cemetery on Highway 30. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service at High's.
