Michael Lee Rhea

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Michael Lee Rhea, age 63, was born May 5, 1951 and died March 6, 2015 at the Nashville Veterans Hospital following an extended illness. A retired home builder, a United States Army veteran and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Dollie Roberts Rhea of McMinnville and the late Harold Loyd Rhea. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by first wife, Carolyn Fults Rhea and second wife, Linda Hobbs Rhea. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Michael L. Rhea, Jr., Richard Rhea and Jeremy W. Rhea all of McMinnville; step-daughter, Angela George and husband Marty of the Green Hill Community; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Patricia G. Martin of McMinnville and Jennifer Elaine Bowditch of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and best friend and companion, Terry Boyd of McMinnville. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 in High's Chapel with Pokie George officiating. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
