Sarah Norris Stewart

McMinnville resident and Edinburgh, Scotland native Sarah Norris Stewart, age 79, was born December 15, 1935 and died April 10, 2015 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. An executive assistant with National Life Insurance Company and member of the Episcopal Church, she was the daughter of the late David and Sarah Norris Stewart. After moving to McMinnville, Miss Stewart worked as a sales associate at Walmart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Dredge. Miss Stewart is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Charles Boatman of McMinnville; three nephews and their spouses, Charles and Carol Boatman of Louisville, KY, David and Aleta Boatman of McMinnville and Stewart Dredge of Scotland and niece, Frances Mary Tate of Scotland. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 in High's Chapel with Lorin Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
