Joyce Elizabeth Curtis

McMinnville resident and Westfield, NJ native Joyce Elizabeth Curtis, age 87, was born December 14, 1927 and died April 18, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. A sales clerk with Formfit Outlet Store and member of the Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Grace Elizabeth Drake O'Brien. Ms. Curtis is survived by a daughter, Betty Jo Paris of McMinnville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Curtis and Pam of Birmingham, AL, Thomas Curtis and Vicki of Spanish Port, AL and Donald Curtis and Gina of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Hydro of St. Petersburg, FL and Nancy Giese of Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Linda O'Brien of Dublin, OH; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Charlotte Redmon, Vicki Williamson, Lisa Rigsby and Mary Cantrell. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
