McMinnville, TN resident and White County, TN native E. Louis Madewell, age 72, was born August 23, 1942 and died suddenly April 21, 2015 at DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville, TN due to an automobile accident. Mr. Madewell was an employee of B & G Supply in Smithville, TN for 47 years, a member of the Warren County Lions Club, and a Christian who worshiped with the congregation at Westwood Church of Christ in McMinnville. He enjoyed being with his family and many friends, enjoyed mowing the lawn, woodworking, and always helping others. He was the son of the late Gilbert and Georgie McCormack Madewell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Madewell Roddy and Richard; brother and sister-in-law, Milton Madewell and Edith; brothers-in-law, Charles H. "Chuck" Priest and Ward Priest. He was married January 31, 1964 to Anne Priest Madewell of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Louanne Madewell Boggs and Keith of McMinnville; four granddaughters, Tori and Emilee Boggs both of McMinnville, and Stephanie and Alexia Boggs both of Madison, AL; grandson, Adam Bouldin and wife Samantha of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Kristin Bouldin of Greenville, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda Fay Madewell Sharpe and Garry of Groveland, FL; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Hugh Stubblefield of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Jean Priest of McMinnville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special brothers, Sammy Walker and Carl McCormack both of McMinnville; and special family, Keith and Kathy Bouldin of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, the Warren County Lions Club or Warren County Relay For Life.
