Thelma Snow Boyd

Morrison, TN resident and Davidson County, TN native Thelma Snow Boyd, age 94, was born December 11, 1920 and died April 28, 2015 at River Park Hospital following a ten-day illness. A homemaker and a member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Snow and Valton Liebhart. She was married to Fernando Campbell Boyd, Jr. who preceded her in death on October 27, 1984. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Susan Trotter; and half-brother, Joe Liebhart. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Carole Jane Boyd of McMinnville and Susan Boyd and G.B. Greene of McMinnville; son, Fernando Campbell Boyd, III of Morrison, TN; three grandchildren, G.B. "Chip" Greene, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Fernando Greene and wife Terra of Murfreesboro, TN and Maegan Paige Boyd of Knoxville, TN; step-grandson, Justin Smith Boyd of Knoxville, TN; great-grandson, Oliver Harrison Greene; brother-in-law, Hubert P. Boyd and wife Billie Gray Boyd of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Central Church of Christ with James Vandiver, Clark Boyd and Paul Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
