Paulette Cantrell Drewitz Halsted

Paulette Cantrell Drewitz Halsted, age 88, an East Ridge, TN resident and McMinnville, TN native died April 30, 2015 at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center following an extended illness. She was an artist, member of Madison Church of Christ and daughter of the late Bernice "B.C." and Loreta Newby Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Donald Drewitz and William Halsted and brothers, Bud and Jack Cantrell. Mrs. Halsted is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Becky & Michael Hughes of East Ridge; two grandsons Clay and Don Culwell and three great-grandchildren, Will, Erin Lee and Gavin Culwell. Graveside service and interment will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Mt. View Cemetery with John Cantrell to officiate. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at High's. Memorials may be made to Gideon Memorial Bibles.
