Hubert Nelson Turner

Hubert Nelson Turner, age 75, a Smithville, TN resident and DeKalb Co., TN native died May 21, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following a three weeks illness. He was self employed in lawn care and son of the late Joe and Martha Naomi West Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Aubrey Lee, James Gentry and Robert Turner. Mr. Turner was married November 6, 1971 to Carolyn Duane Mason Turner who survives. He is also survived by special granddaughter, Kendra (Craig) Adcock Smithson of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Sue Roberts of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 in High's Chapel with Drew Milligan to officiate. Interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in DeKalb County. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 and Saturday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High's.
