Evelyn Mae Ferrell

McMinnville resident and East Liverpool, OH native Evelyn Mae Ferrell, age 70, was born September 21, 1944 and died May 24, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Dale and Thelma Francis Brooks. She was married June, 9, 1973 to Jimmie Dale Ferrell who preceded her in death March 11, 2015. Mrs. Ferrell is survived by six sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Howard Ferrell and Waymon Ferrell both of Indiana, Billy Ray Bateman of McMinnville, Michael Dean Bateman of Springfield, IN and Faron Dale and Dawn Ferrell, and Timmy Wooton all of Huntington, IN; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ramona Sue Bateman Potts and James of McMinnville, Jamie Sue Ferrell and Jessie Robertson of McMinnville, and Debbie Lynn Bateman Fields and Craig of Hartford City, IN; twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in High's Chapel with Bobby Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in the Bonham Cemetery in Smithville, TN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at High's.
