Michael O'Neil Perry

McMinnville, TN resident and Dyer County, TN native Michael O'Neil Perry, age 72, was born October 22, 1942 and died June 11, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired eighth grade educator with the Dyersburg Middle School and a member of Finley Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Isaac "Buddy" and LaVerne O'Neil Perry. He was married May 31, 1978 to Linda Ore Perry of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and spouses, Chris and Danyelle Perry of Morrison, TN, Melonie and Matt Merlone of St. Charles, MO, and Marcus and Rhonda Perry of The Colony, TX; sister, Amanda Perry of Cordova, TN; and four grandchildren, Jordan Perry, Cydney Jane Perry, Bennett Perry and Cecilia Merlone. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo, TN with Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Maury City Cemetery in Maury City, TN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Ronk Funeral Home.
