Thula Wilson Kilgore

Thula Wilson Kilgore, a native of Overton County, TN and resident of McMinnville was born April 21, 1928 and died June 19, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of Madison St. Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Huston and Maude Wilson. She was married to Claude Kilgore who preceded her in death in 1970. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Velma Wilson of Detoroit, MI, Delcie West of McMinnville, Austa Parker of Greenville, SC; and brothers, Haskell Martin "Pete", William and Gene Wilson all of McMinnville, and Howard Wilson of Wabash, IN. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mildred Susan and Roger Bauer of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Betty Boyd of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends. A private graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in Mt. View Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Terry Boyd, a Deacon at Westwood Church of Christ.
