Lori Ann Medley Sweeten

Morrison, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Lori Ann Medley Sweeten, age 47, was born October 18, 1967 and died June 20, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville following a sudden illness. An assembly worker with Yorozu and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Bonnie Reed Hollon of Centertown and the late Larry Hugh Medley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister, Jessica Medley; maternal grandparents, Houston and Mae Reed; paternal grandparents, Royce and Mildred Medley; and stepfather, Ernest Hollon. In addition to her mother, she is survived by husband, Dewayne Sweeten of Morrison, TN; son, Jarrod Herrin of Morrison, TN; four daughters, Tresta (Nathan) Barnes of Morrison, TN, Heather (James) Jones of McMinnville, Kimberly Herrin of Sparta, TN and Kirstyn Sweeten and Frankie George of Morrison, TN; step-mother, Gina Medley of Beech Grove, TN; eleven grandchildren; one brother, John (Amy) Taylor of McMinnville; three sisters, Angela (Jeffery) Anderson of Beech Grove, TN, Stephanie Gregory of Beech Grove, TN and JoAnn Bennett of Manchester, TN; and good friend, Tommy Jordan. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at High's. Services will take place Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in High's Chapel with Dale Shafer officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.
