Jakoleen Rosenbaum Barnes

McMinnville, TN resident and Bristol, TN native Jakoleen Rosenbaum Barnes, age 90, was born August 11, 1924 and died June 22, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired cafeteria worker with the Warren County School System and a member of Hebron Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Flora Blevins Rosenbaum. She was married to J.L. Barnes who preceded her in death in 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Wayne Barnes; and grandson, Timothy Wayne Boyd. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Patti Barnes of the Vervilla Community; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Arlen Boyd of McMinnville; three grandchildren and spouses, Joseph and T.J. Boyd, Jeremy Barnes, and Nathan and Tresta Barnes; six great-grandchildren, Dominque, Layton, Jera, Nahla and Aly Barnes, and Bryce Lazenby; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Milstead. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Hebron Church of Christ with Chris Perry and Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Thursday at High's.
