Jean Scott

Jean Scott, age 82, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died July 8, 2015 at NHC Healthcare, McMinnville following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late Henry and Wavie Roberts Curtiss. She was married to Osban Scott who preceded her in death in October 18, 2008. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Steve Scott and sister, Wilma Smartt. Mrs. Scott is survived by two sons, Marlin (Shelia) Scott and John (Sarah) Scott of McMinnville; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, H.B. and Joyce Scott and Priceford and Joyce Scott of McMinnville. Nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015 in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Harold Cook to officiate. Visitation will be Friday 9:00 a.m. until 11:40 a.m. at High's.
