McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Phillip Christopher "Chris" King, II, age 29, was born October 2, 1985 and died July 20, 2015 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. An employee of Metal Products and a member of Hebron Church of Christ, he was the beloved son of Phillip and Movita King of McMinnville, and the loving father of Camden King of McMinnville. He is also survived by sister, Kirstin King of Murfreesboro, TN; niece, Nia Rich of Murfreesboro, TN; grandmother, Sharon Sparkman of Bone Cave, TN; aunts and uncles, Carol and Jerry Lyle, Debbie and Kenneth Wolfe, and Dale Sparkman all of McMinnville, Judy and James Luna of Smithville, TN, Kevin "Cotton" Sparkman and Thomas Sparkman both of Bone Cave, TN, Julie and Billy Bradshaw of Smyrna, TN, Tamela and Dale Scott of Brentwood, TN, and Timmy and Fronia Templeton of Viola, TN; special great-aunt, Sally McCullough of Woodbury, TN; and numerous cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by sister, Teria King; paternal grandmother, Dorothy B. McGee; paternal grandfather, Charles King; maternal grandparents, A.C. and Mae Templeton; aunt, Winter Sparkman; and special cousin, Kristin Beth Luna. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 in High's Chapel with Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
