Donald Moore Crothers

Donald Moore Crothers, age 73, a McMinnville, TN resident and Shelby County, TN native died August 24, 2015 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was a retired employee of Powermatic, a member of the National Guard and Westwood Church of Christ, and son of the late Howard M. and Mary Louise Miller Crothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kayla Marie Crothers. Mr. Crothers is survived by son, Michael (Melaney) Crothers and daughter, Donna Carol (Jeff) Basham both of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Treyton Crothers, Lauren Crothers, Blake Basham, Chase Basham, Brittany (Justin) Collier and Brett (Rachel) Basham; two great-grandsons, Jeffrey Basham and Robert Basham; brother, Howard M. Crothers of Phoenix, AZ; and two nephews, Vincent Crothers of Macon, GA and Matthew Crothers of California. Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Westwood Church of Christ with Coy Hathcock to officiate. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the Westwood Church of Christ.
