Cory Nichole Potter Keener

Murfreesboro, TN resident and McMinnville, TN native Cory Nichole Potter Keener, age 39, was born July 6, 1976 and died suddenly August 25, 2015 in Smyrna, TN. A Lead Communication Coordinator with Charter Communications, she was the daughter of Marsha Potter of Murfreesboro, TN and Dale Potter of Knoxville, TN. She was married March 16, 2013 to Chris Keener of Murfreesboro, TN. In addition to her husband, mother and father, she is survived by son, David Aaron "D.J." Jessie of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Sarah Potter of Providence, RI; brother, John Potter of Knoxville, TN; step-daughter, Candi (Jeremy) Clements of New London, MO; step-granddaughter, Mariah Clements; and step-grandson, Treyton Clements. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Irene Elrod; and paternal grandparents, John and Elnora Potter. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 in High's Chapel with Bob Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
