Linda Faye Butcher

January 22, 1945 — August 27, 2015

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Linda Faye Butcher, age 70, was born January 22, 1945 and died August 27, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired CNA with Raintree Manor and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late J.T. and Mattie Fults Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Lesa Butcher; brother, Sonny Church; and three sisters, Mae Harrison, Georgia Brown and Donna Church. She was married to Waymon Butcher of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Kim and Jeff McKnight of Lewisburg, TN, and Sherry Carter, Jimmy and Ramona Potts, and James Taylor all of McMinnville; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Steve Butcher of McMinnville; four brothers, Leon Church of Michigan, J.T. Church of Manchester, TN, and Don Church and Jimmy Church both of McMinnville; three sisters, Ada Vaughn, Treva Noll and Dorothy Freeman all of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 in High's Chapel. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High's.
