Coy Brown Gunter

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Coy Brown Gunter, age 86, was born February 12, 1929 and died September 10, 2015 at his residence following a sudden illness. A retired truck driver, he was the son of the late Floyd and Myrtle Blair Gunter. He was married to Vivian Benjamin Gunter who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Myers, Nora Cummings and Jean Fratterelli. He is survived by daughters, Cherie Pruett, Kelly Copri and another daughter; son, William Barrett; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and sister and brother-in-law, Alta and Leo Donley of Morrison, TN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Blues Hill Presbyterian Church with Lyon Walkup officiating. Inurnment will follow in Gunter-Grizzell Cemetery in Cannon County, TN. There will be no visitation at High's.
