Judy V. Hammock

Judy V. Hammock, age 65, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died October 4, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of Trinity Baptist Church and daughter of the late Duke V. and Chloe Belle Judkins Cantrell. She was married in 1990 to Billy N. Hammock who preceded her in death October 29, 2014. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Irene Davis, Lee Duke Cantrell, Ruby Danley, Gennette Rogers, Inez Crouch, Felix Cantrell, Mack Don Cantrell and Joanna Ferrell. Mrs. Hammock is survived by daughter Kim (Stacey) Swann of Cookeville, TN; two grandchildren, Nathan (Lindsay) Waggoner and Ashley Waggoner (Luis Chavez) both of Cookeville; three great-grandchildren, Caleb Chavez, Carter Chavez and Paxton Waggoner; two brothers Jerry N. (Treva) Cantrell and Dorris L. Cantrell both of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in High's Chapel with Phillip Rowland to officiate. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Memorial Hill Cemetery at Trinity. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at High's.
