McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Corker Jackson DeLoach, Sr., age 66, was born May 8, 1949 and died October 10, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. DeLoach was a three-time NCAA All-American Golfer. He was the Most Valuable Player at the University of Houston, where the golf team won the NCAA Championship. He played in the 1970 U.S. Open, and was a two-time winner of the Tennessee State NCAA Golf Championship. He was also a well-known basketball player for the McMinnville City High School. Retired as a sales representative with Golf Classics and a member of First United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Thomas Maddin and Katherine Ann Jackson DeLoach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Juanita Bouldin. He was married August 17, 1968 to Ann Bouldin DeLoach of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Corker Jackson DeLoach, Jr. of McMinnville; daughter, Leigh Ann DeLoach of McMinnville; brother, Tommy DeLoach of McMinnville; father-in-law, John Bouldin of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Bino Bouldin and wife Sherry of Rock Island, TN; two nieces and one nephew; and five great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 in High's Chapel with Dick Scott-Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's.
