Wayne Martin

Wayne Martin, age 69, a McMinnville, TN resident and Sylacauga, AL native died October 11, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired employee of A.O. Smith, U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and son of Mary Nell Martin of McMinnville and the late Orville Woodrow Martin. In addition to his mother Mr. Martin is survived by daughters and son-in-law Christy Vinson of McMinnville and Sherri and Paul Daron of Sugarland, TX; grandchildren Aaron and Leslie Vinson of McMinnville and Jack and Elli Daron of Texas; brothers Michael and Steve Martin both of McMinnville; niece Bayly Martin and nephew Cain Martin both of McMinnville. Funeral service will 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015 in High's Chapel with family members to officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery with military grave rites conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion 173. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service at High's.
