Jeffery Eugene Justice

Jeffery Eugene Justice, age 43, a McMinnville, TN resident and Harbor City, CA native passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 surrounded by loved ones after a brief but intense struggle from complications due to his cerebral palsy. Because of Jeffery's special needs, he spent his whole life as a small child in his mind and heart, always planning the next holiday event or party. His smile and laughter would light up a room, and will be dearly missed. Jeffery's simple existence taught us all that it's the little things that count. Our lives and those that he touched are richer for having known him. He made us pause, he made us think, and he made us consider. He made us grateful. We love him, and it was an honor to be part of his journey. If there are fields in heaven, we are certain he is running through them now. He is survived by parents, Barry and Kirma Justice of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Jeff Peterson of McMinnville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Stephanie Justice of Parker, CO, Matt and Heidi Justice of Thompson Station, TN and Brad and Lisa Justice of Albuquerque, NM. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at High Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
