Wavie Turner

Wavie Turner, age 94, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died October 28, 2015 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was a self-employed caregiver, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Thomas Guy and Katherine Elizabeth Barrett Cutts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons, Ricky and Michael Turner and daughter, Kathy Turner. She was married November 26, 1942 to Everett Lee Turner who preceded her in death July 25, 2006. Mrs. Turner is survived by son, Kerry Lee Turner of McMinnville; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia (Lloyd) Goodman of Smithville, TN and Wanda (Jerry) Silver of Ohio; seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, October 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in High's Chapel with Barry Boggs to officiate. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High's.
