Ruth Eloise Sweeton

Ruth Eloise Sweeton, age 85, a McMinnville, TN resident and Marion County, TN native died November 3, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of Faith Chapel and daughter of the late Issac Fred and Bessie Kilgore Turner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughter, Cynthia Ruth Sweeton and all of her siblings. She was married to Kenneth Clyde Sweeton of McMinnville on July 12, 1947 who survives. Mrs. Sweeton is also survived by children and spouses Kenny (Melanie) Sweeton, Gregory (Sarah) Sweeton all of McMinnville and Rhonda (John) Vorhoff of Garden City, Michigan; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 in High's Chapel with Gregory Sweeton to officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 and 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at High's.
