George "Bud" Leonard

George "Bud" Leonard, age 58, a McMinnville, TN resident and Houston, TX native died November 8, 2015 at his residence following a four year illness. An employee of Ben Lomand Telephone Cooperative and a United States Army veteran, he was the son of Kathy Huston of Temecula, CA. He was married August 15, 1980 to Kimberly Leonard of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by son, Scott (Carly) Leonard of McMinnville; daughter, Brandy Leonard (Larry Tittsworth) of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jathan Tittsworth, Savanna Leonard, Halie Leonard and Gavin Leonard; brother, Jim (Trish) Huston of Descanso, CA and sister, Sharon Huston (Phillip Acosta) of Carlsbad, CA. His maternal grandmother, Margaret Westhead, preceded him in death. Funeral service will be in High's Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 with Chaplain Joe Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Morrison Cemetery with military grave rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 and Friday, November 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High's.
