Clifford Morris "Bud" Butcher, age 79, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died November 12, 2015 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Butcher was employed with Avalon Dairies delivering milk to Van Buren and Bledsoe counties for twenty years and was a retired employee of Universal Construction Company. He served in the Tennessee National Guard, as an Elder of East End Church of Christ and was the son of the late Howard and Irene Dodson Butcher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, Clifford Butcher, Jr. He was married January 26, 1961 to Barbra Ann Denton Butcher who survives. He is also survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (John) Browning of Nashville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Barry (Angela) Butcher of McMinnville; grandchildren, Meagan (Jordan) Underhill and Tyler Butcher of McMinnville and Reece Browning of Nashville; great-grandson, Knox Jordan Underhill; brother, Willard (Betty Jean) Butcher of McMinnville; sisters, Jean Anderson of Murfreesboro, TN and Brenda Perry of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Robert (Agnes) Denton of Augusta, GA and sister-in-law, Martha Null of Sparta, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015 in High's Chapel with Kevin Key to officiate. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015 and 11:00 a.m. Monday until time of service at High's.
