Bertie Lee Stubblefield

Morrison, TN resident and Lawsonville, NC native Bertie Lee Stubblefield, age 82, was born September 3, 1933 and died November 14, 2015 at her residence following a short illness. A substitute teacher and member of the Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lucy Martin Beasley. She was married November 4, 1955 to Charles Edgar Stubblefield who preceded her in death September 28, 2012. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Lisa Williams. Mrs. Stubblefield is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Julia Stubblefield and Steve and Terry Stubblefield all of Morrison, TN; two grandsons, Cole and Colin Stubblefield both of Morrison, TN; sister, Shirley Beasley of Lawsonville, NC and great-niece, April Niten of North Carolina. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in High's Chapel with Roger Comstock officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
