Patty Sue Haston

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Patty Sue Haston, age 81, was born February 27, 1934 and died November 16, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. Mrs. Haston taught in the Warren County School System for over fifty years. A member of the First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Gladys Woodlee Magness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Wayne Haston; and grandson, Paul Haston. She was married to her husband of sixty-one years, Lowell Haston of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children and spouses, Dr. Steve Haston of Lantana, FL, Joey and Shannon Haston of McMinnville, Elaine Jacobs of McMinnville, and Donna and Jeff Womack of Morrison, TN; daughter-in-law, Donna Haston Zlaten of McMinnville; nine grandchildren, Chris Jacobs of Smyrna, TN, Stevie Haston of Clarksville, TN, David and Mike Haston both of St. Louis, MO, and Jason Jacobs, Chad Womack, Sara Womack, Madeline Haston and Jalen Haston all of McMinnville; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Linda Magness of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 in High's Chapel with Stevie Haston and Bo Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's.
