Dwight Oliver Jones

Dwight Oliver Jones, age 68, a Smyrna, TN resident and Warren Co., TN native died November 26, 2015 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Jones was a CPA at Jones Brothers, member of The Smyrna Church of Christ and son of the late Otis Jones and Margaret Oliver. He was married June 26, 1971 to Rita Ann Whiteaker who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Dwight Oliver (Christine) Jones of Nashville, TN and John Isaac (Crystal) Jones of Murfreesboro, TN and grandchildren, Faith Jones and Wyatt Jones. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in High's Chapel with Tim Lavender to officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at High's. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Smyrna Church of Christ Food Pantry Program in Smyrna, TN or American Heart Association.
