Billie Lee Fuston

Billie Lee Pierce Fuston, McMinnville, TN resident and Ringgold, GA native, passed this life December 8, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville after a lingering illness. She was born May 31, 1920 and was 95 years of age. Until her health declined, she was a faithful member of the East End Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, a loving mother, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by parents, William S. and Bertie Lee Musgrove Pierce; her loving husband of 57 years, Willie Elton Fuston; daughter, Linda Joyce Fuston Golden; four sisters, Ada Blevins, Etta Shell, Lillian Hatfield and Velma Brown; three brothers, Ambrose, Gene, and James Pierce; half-sister, Doris Howard; and half-brother, W.D. “Bill” Pierce. Survivors include two children, Steve Fuston of McMinnville, and Randall (Irene) Fuston of the Midway Community in Rock Island, TN; son-in-law, Jeff Golden; close family friend, Joye B. Fuston of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Candice Golden (Todd) Willmore and Eric (Nancy) Golden all of McMinnville; Stephanie Fuston Byaridge and Michele Fuston both of Murfreesboro, TN, Stephen (Vanessa) Fuston of Fort Drum, NY, and Brandon (Kara) Fuston and Randi Fuston of Rock Island, TN; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held Friday December 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in High’s Chapel with Bro. Garland Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fuston Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Bible Call” c/o East End Church of Christ or the Fuston Cemetery Fund, c/o of High’s.
