Carol Annette Barrett

Carol Annette Barrett, age 63, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died December 19, 2015 at her residence following a one-year illness. Mrs. Barrett was a kindergarten teacher for forty-one years at Eastside Elementary School, member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and daughter of the late Leonard Woodrow and Mildred Inez Gribble Glenn. She was married to Dwight Barrett who survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Lindsey (Tyler) Bouldin of McMinnville and Courtney Crook (Ryan) of Lebanon, TN; step-son, Jason Barrett of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Cooper Bouldin of McMinnville and Reagan Crook of Lebanon; step-grandson, Jackub Crook of Lebanon; mother-in-law, Lola Barrett of McMinnville; aunt, Christine Gribble of McMinnville and special friends, Melody Brock of McMinnville and Phyllis Hillis of Rock Island, TN. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015 and Monday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at High's. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Eastside Elementary School, Magness Library or Warren Co. Relay for Life.
